C'elle, the easy alternative

Who would have thought that the menstrual blood of a woman could treat a number of serious diseases, such as osteoporosis, stroke, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. The cells may even one day be used for customized anti-aging or sports medicine treatments. Scientists have discovered that cells taken from menstrual blood can be cultivated in the lab and used like stem cells to repair damaged heart tissue in addition to the above diseases.

Cryo-Cell” or the “Company”), one of the largest and most established family cord blood banks, today announced its discovery of breakthrough stem cell technology and its launch of the world’s first-ever service provided for women to store their own menstrual stem ells. The new service, called C’elleSM (pronounced “C-L”), enables women to collect menstrual flow containing stem cells, which can be cryogenically preserved in a manner similar to stem cells from umbilical cord blood and may one day serve as a potential source for promising regenerative therapies to treat heart disease, diabetes, neurological disorders like spinal cord injury, to name a few. With C'elle, the process to harvest adult stem cells is remarkable because C'elle menstrual stem cells are easily collected by using a safe, non-invasive process in the privacy of your own home. And it is easy to isolate and preserve menstrual blood. With C'elle every month can be a miracle!

Press Release:

Taking Control: Future Therapies for a Host of Serious Diseases May Be Found in Women's Menstrual Blood

July 07, 2008: 01:28 PM EST

OLDSMAR, Fla., July 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- With today’s hectic lifestyle, where most women are juggling careers, family, relationships, and a host of activities, the idea of possibly facing a serious illness in the future is not something that readily comes to mind -- especially when a woman is in the prime of her life. But what most women don’t know, is that the key to treating a number of possibly life-threatening diseases that she, a parent, a sibling or even her children may face in later years, such as osteoporosis, heart disease, stroke, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease, may be found within her own body -- in vital stem cells, which can now be harvested from her own menstrual blood.

Now, thanks to the revolutionary research and technology of C’elle, a service dedicated to providing women with a safe and easy method of collecting and preserving stem cells found in her menstrual fluid each month, even the busiest woman can take control of her future, right in the privacy of her own home. With C’elle’s non-invasive collection process, menstrual cells are processed and cryo-preserved (stored at a very low temperature) for potential cellular therapies that may be used in the future. These self-renewing cells one day may even be used for sports medicine or cosmeceutical treatments, such as anti-aging therapies.

"C’elle enables and empowers a woman to take control of her future health, and possibly of those genetically closest to her, in a fast, painless and stress free way," said Michelle Kay, Marketing and Sales Manager for C’elle. "We live in exciting times, as science and technology are discovering how extremely valuable menstrual blood stem cells really are, and the enormous treatment potential they represent for future therapies. C’elle’s ongoing research is supporting these promising findings."

Getting a good education can keep us out of financial difficulties

In this fast paced highly technical world of ours a good education is almost essential for success. Yes some individuals are able to get by without it, but what are the chances that one of us will be that lucky. The chances are very slim to nil. So if we want to be able to care for ourselves and our families the best that we can then we need to get the education that we can. Whether it be online like Walden University or actually sitting at a desk and listening to a lecture or something else as long as it provides the knowledge that can get us to the top then it is good no mater what.

Then where will you and family be if you can not provide for them. Up the creek without a paddle that is for sure. So take some time and get a good education now while you still have time. If nothing else just to set a good example for your l…

Valiant Watercolor Professional Quality Pen Set 20 Color Soft Flexible Tip. Perfect for Children's Coloring Books Manga Caligraphy Lettering. 100% Non-Toxic and Safe.

One of the things that I love to do aside from my photography is a watercolor painting. I love how watercolor gives life to a simple image. Here is an example of an image that I painted. A watermelon. I painted this image using a watercolor brush pen. This pen has a flexible nylon brush tip which makes it possible to create fine, medium, and bold strokes. How I achieved the fading color in my watercolor paint? I used a refillable blending brush pen that comes with the watercolor brush pens that I used. I get so excited when I see the watercolor effect of these pens. They are so easy to use.

And when I need to unwind from my day to day activities. I will sit for a few minutes and enjoy the color of these watercolor brush pens using a coloring book that has beautiful and inspirational quotes.
