Someting I've been pondering

It's back to school time, but hey! My son is not a schooler yet. Not until next year! I am thinking to enroll him in any kind of Art lessons, just for fun, for some few weeks. Wondering why art? Well, maybe because I love art and I know art is good for kids. Let me share you some reasons that I know why art is good for kids. If you encourage your kids to explore art they are more likely to do well in Math - one of the difficult subjects for me when I was in college. Art develops hand-eye coordination, which is important for young kids. It also helps children express themselves emotionally, It develops pride, imagination, make the world a more beautiful place, teaches them patience, focus, and learn to look at things from more than one viewpoint. Most of all, creating art makes a child happy! Who would not want their children to be always at their best and be on top of everything. As a mom, I never stop thinking of things that will help my child grow in the way he should go, as the scripture says " Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." --Proverbs 22:6

Hi Vida.. Good job creating this blog page.

You have ample of talents and I admire you in so many ways. I am glad to be acquainted and be ur friend.

It's comforting to know that I am not the only one wondering and pondering what my children would be like when they become adults. As you know I have 4 young ones. It's amazing how each child is different and unique since day one they're born. As parents it's our responsibilities to recognize the strengths and weaknesses of our kids. Then, helped them work in their weaknesses and make them their strength and make their strength their capital or leverage to success. Well, I am actually wondering if I am doing well enough as a mother in assisting my children in recognizing and working on their own strength and weaknesses even at their early age. MaybeI should stop wondering and worrying and start doing and working.

Getting a good education can keep us out of financial difficulties

In this fast paced highly technical world of ours a good education is almost essential for success. Yes some individuals are able to get by without it, but what are the chances that one of us will be that lucky. The chances are very slim to nil. So if we want to be able to care for ourselves and our families the best that we can then we need to get the education that we can. Whether it be online like Walden University or actually sitting at a desk and listening to a lecture or something else as long as it provides the knowledge that can get us to the top then it is good no mater what.

This goes for mothers as well. You never know what is going to happen to your spouse. He could become a vegetable because of illness or injury at work or even worse. Then where will you and family be if you can not provide for them. Up the creek without a paddle that is for sure. So take some time and get a good education now while you still have time. If nothing else just to set a good example for your l…

Valiant Watercolor Professional Quality Pen Set 20 Color Soft Flexible Tip. Perfect for Children's Coloring Books Manga Caligraphy Lettering. 100% Non-Toxic and Safe.

One of the things that I love to do aside from my photography is a watercolor painting. I love how watercolor gives life to a simple image. Here is an example of an image that I painted. A watermelon. I painted this image using a watercolor brush pen. This pen has a flexible nylon brush tip which makes it possible to create fine, medium, and bold strokes. How I achieved the fading color in my watercolor paint? I used a refillable blending brush pen that comes with the watercolor brush pens that I used. I get so excited when I see the watercolor effect of these pens. They are so easy to use.

And when I need to unwind from my day to day activities. I will sit for a few minutes and enjoy the color of these watercolor brush pens using a coloring book that has beautiful and inspirational quotes.
