Help to fight heart disease

In the United States heart disease is a major killer for men as well as women. Each and every one of us probably knows someone who has died form this dreadful disease or who is afflicted with it. More than likely it is some in our families or someone very close to us. You might even be someone who has survived to tell your story to your friends and family.

The American Heart Association in conjunction with Chiquita and Fresh Express go red for women. They have created a website where women can go to tell their stories for others to read and maybe even save their lives or the life of someone close to them. By signing up and posting your story you help to show your support to help beat heart disease.

In conjunction with signing up if you purchase select products from participating retailers such as Albertsons and others $.10 will be donated to the American Heart Association for every unit that is sold. You eat bagged salad anyway so why not just purchase the one that will donate to help fight this growing epidemic.
