Have you been laid off and are needing to relocate for your new job? Is the company that you are working with relocating and you need to move with it? Are you relocating to get away from bad situation before it gets worse? If any of these questions sounds like you then you are going to have to put up with the hassle of moving. I would do this to make sure that my stuff is handled well and that nothing is missing when it gets to where it is going. Of course it will cost a little bit more, but in the long run you will not have worry whether or not you stuff is good hands.
If you are planning on moving by yourself and it is to another state then you are going to need a company that offers one way truck rental. You do not want to have to pay more to rent the truck and even have to bring it back when you are done.

This would also ensure that the piano got to where it is going unharmed as well as saving my walls and even floors.
